As the 8 million people of the erstwhile British Southern Cameroons, today known as Ambazonia continue to press their legitimate right to self-determination, and thereby to become a sovereign and independent nation, the world is beginning to see the emergence of abundant talents of Ambazonians, such as that of Tafon Nchukwi, which otherwise would have been buried in the dustbin of corruption, tribalism, favouritism, and marginalization in Cameroun Republique.
Ambazonia born Tafon Nchukwi hails from Mezam State. He recently carried the Ambazonia flag high after he defeated his opponent, Holland. His carrying of the Ambazonia flag is not only an expression of pride in the Ambazonian nationalism and sense of patriotism, but, as he has said, is an expression of solidarity with the millions of oppressed Ambazonians in the homeland and the thousands who have lost their lives, killed daily by the Cameroon government of tyrant Paul Biya.
Nchukwi is a 24 years old Mixed Martial Art (MMA) heavyweight rising star who is known to defeat most of his opponents by knockouts or stoppage by the umpire. In March 2017 he defeated Renan Cruz and proceeded to knock off Malik Smith in a highly contentious February 2018 fight. Last year, he went 1-0 and won the heavyweight Open K1 division at the WKA US Nationals Championship. Nchukwi is ranked number 155 in the US professional heavyweight division out of 475 current fighters.
Tafon Nchukwi is on a 5th knockout winning streak and has never suffered any defeat since turning professional.
